Weta – Lord of the Rings Statue 1/6 Isildur ETA: END 03/2018
Although his screen time was comparatively brief, Isildur was nevertheless a pivotal character in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and embodied some of Weta Workshop’s finest costume and weapon work.
With intricate inlays of brass and elvish writing, Narsil (which ultimately became Andúril) was one such example. As the blade was to be shattered by the foot of Sauron during the prologue, the sequence required a collection of breakaway swords. These swords, cut into the same exacting seven individual shards, were glued together and broken again and again to capture the moment.
Distilling this complex scene into collectible form, was senior sculptor Daniel Cockersell – no stranger to Middle-earth, having formed part of Weta Workshop’s physical sculpting team on The Hobbit. Isildur stands complete in 1:6 scale: gazing at the One Ring, broken hilt of Narsil still clutched in one hand.
Weta – Lord of the Rings Bust The Fell Beast ETA: END 03/2018
During the War of the Ring, Sauron’s Ringwraiths took to the air to scour Middle-earth for the bearer of the One. Borne upon ancient, nameless beasts, fell and terrible, the Nazgûl ranged far and freely, their cries rending the air and striking fear into the hearts of men.
When battle came, the Wraiths drove their bat-winged mounts into their enemies’ ranks, crushing armour and shattering lines. Soldiers they plucked from battlements, hurling them to their deaths, and horse and rider alike they fed to their beasts upon the blood-soaked field of battle.
The Fell Beast Bust can either stand on a flat surface or hang on the wall. Just loosen the bolt, turn its head 180 degrees on its base and fasten the bolt again.
Weta – Hobbit The Battle of the Five Armies Statue 1/6 Thranduil on Elk ETA: END 05/2018
King of the Woodland Realm, Thranduil leads a mighty host of Elven warriors.
When Thorin, the Dwarf king in exile, reclaimed his home from the Dragon Smaug, Thranduil marched upon the mountain fortress of Erebor. With the great army of Mirkwood at his back, the Elf Lord sought to wrest from Thorin his share of the treasure of Erebor, by force, if necessary. Amid the uncountable coins, gold and jewels lay the White Gems of Lasgalen, above all most dear to Thranduil for once belonged to his lost queen.
Clad in shining plate, Thranduil surveyed the long valley and the Dwarves’ towering stone fortifications from atop his great Mirkwood Elk, cold eyes weighing the cost of his bid, confident in the overwhelming might of his forces.

Weta – Hobbit The Battle of the Five Armies Statue 1/6 The Torturer of Dol Guldur ETA: END 02/2018
Imprisoned by the Necromancer, Gandalf the Grey finds himself at the mercy of the savage Torturer of Dol Guldur. Exhausted and brutalised, the Wizard is dragged from his gibbet by the huge Orc, who makes ready to cut the Elven Ring Narya from his hand.
Unusually tall and straight-backed for an Orc, the Torturer has long served the Dark Lord through his servant Azog, leader of the great Orcs of Gundabad. The Torturer fought in Azog’s campaign against the Dwarves and partook in the conquering of Moria, where he received a grievous wound.
In an edition of just 500, The Torturer of Dol Guldur is Weta Workshop’s latest 1:6 scale statue from Dol Guldur; sculpted in monstrous detail by artist Sam Gao.
